Our Cardiff North and Cardiff South & Vale community
choruses meet weekly for 2 hours, free-of-charge in
dementia-friendly venues. No referral is needed.
Welcoming singing sessions offer a shared experience
where everyone is a ‘singer’ first and foremost:
All venues have disabled access and accessible toilets.
This is a support service for people living with
dementia and their families/ carers.
This project is funded via the Regional Partnership Board - Cardiff and Vale/C3SC (Cardiff Third Sector Council).

Forget-me-not Chorus (FMNC) uses the power of song
to support those living with and alongside dementia.
Inclusive sessions - in care home, community, hospital,
and online settings - empower and connect people in a
way that is unique and life-affirming.
Our pioneering approach uses music as a tool for meaningful
communication and engagement in the present, not
just as a tool for reminiscence. By inspiring everyone to
participate to the best of their abilities, our work
re-connects communities, improves wellbeing and
demonstrates the transformational power of song.
